The Tata Nexon facelift has the same length as the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet, while it is the widest among the three. The Sonet is the tallest sub-4m SUV in this comparison, while the Venue and Sonet get a marginally longer wheelbase as compared to the new Nexon.

Powertrains

The Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet are both offered with the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder NA petrol (82 hp), 1.0-litre three-pot turbo petrol (118 hp) and 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel (114 hp) engine options. Transmission options include manual, clutch-less manual (iMT), dual-clutch auto, and a torque converter auto (Sonet only).

While both the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue are packed up to the brim with features, the new Tata Nexon facelift has set a new bar in the sub-4m SUV segment as far as equipment goes. That said, the features on offer with the Venue include an eight-inch touchscreen with connected car tech, Alexa and Google voice assistant support, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, air purifier, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, four-way powered driver seat, electric sunroof and wireless charger.
The Kia Sonet’s equipment list includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected-tech, electric sunroof, wireless charger, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, air purifier, push-button start/stop, Bose seven-speaker system and so on.
