Xiaomi’s new OS for its devices, the HyperOS, is starting its global rollout. The HyperOS replaces MIUI and powers the company’s ecosystem of personal devices, including smartphones, cars, and AIoT home products.
HyperOS is available for nine devices, including Xiaomi 13 Ultra, 13 Pro, 13, 13T Pro, 13T, Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12S, Xiaomi Pad 6, and Poco F5.The update will be rolled out over the air to eligible users in a gradual process.

Xiaomi says that HyperOS brings a brand new user interface that focuses on four major goals: low-level refactoring, cross-end intelligent connectivity, proactive intelligence, and end-to-end security.
For smartphones, HyperOS is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and comes with Android 14. Meanwhile, for its suite of smart devices, the HyperOS is built on top of the Xiaomi Vela open-source system.
Xiaomi claims that HyperOS will offer stable performance in resource-intensive scenarios. It has HyperConnect, which allows users to control all connected devices from anywhere. HyperMind AI enables devices to be proactive by learning user needs. It integrates large foundation models that empower third-party apps with advanced features. Xiaomi HyperOS prioritises user security with dedicated hardware TEE and end-to-end encryption.
HyperOS comes pre-installed on Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi TV S Pro 85″ MiniLED, and Xiaomi Watch S3.
The following devices in China are also being updated to HyperOS – Redmi K60 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14″, Xiaomi TV S Pro 65, Xiaomi TV S Pro 75, Xiaomi Sound Speaker, and Xiaomi Smart Camera 3 Pro.
