Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Joram’ earned several accolades at various international film festivals, but found little attention at the domestic box office. And now, in a rare feat, the movie has made it to the Oscar library.
The actor has expressed his joy upon hearing the news and told News18 that he doesn’t work for validation but for his passion. Manoj further stated, “At the end of the day, you’re the best and the biggest critic of yourself.It’s only me who knows how much I could achieve and how much I just left out, how much I missed and how much I lacked in a few places, and that’s a continuous process. And this is what I feel so great about, that I’m exploring and evolving, improving all the time.”
‘Joram’ has been written and directed by Devashish Makhija, and produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Anupama Bose & Makhijafilm.
Currently, Manoj Bajpayee is rocking the headlines for his recently released darkly comedy crime thriller ‘Killer Soup‘ opposite Konkona Sen Sharma. It also stars Nasser, Anula Navlekar, Kani Kusruti, and Sayaji Shinde. The eight-episode series premiered on January 11.
