New Delhi: The Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha is scheduled for January 22, 2024 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Consecration Ceremony of Ram Lalla, which serves as the inauguration of the temple, will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries of the nation, including politicians, businessmen and film celebrities. Ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, the Chief of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda has said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), that he will not be present in Ayodhya to attend the Consecration but will visit the temple with his family, after January 22.

JP Nadda To Skip Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha

As mentioned earlier, BJP Chief JP Nadda will be skipping the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha on January 22 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Instead of being physically present in the temple city of UP, the BJP Chief will be a part of the ceremony virtually, at the Jhandewalan Temple in New Delhi.

JP Nadda has himself confirmed that he will only be attending the Consecration Ceremony virtually by a post on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter). In his post, Nadda has thanked the trust for being invited for the ceremony, “I have received an invitation from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the sacred program of consecration of Ram temple in Shri Ayodhya. I express my gratitude to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the invitation.

Further, he has said that he will not be visiting Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha on Jan 22 and that he will be in Delhi to witness the grand event virtually, “After 500 years of struggle, we are getting the privilege of seeing the grand construction of Ram Temple. After the Pran Pratistha program, I will soon go to Ayodhya for darshan with my family. On January 22, I will witness the Pran Pratishtha program from the courtyard of Jhandewalan Temple, New Delhi.”

According to media reports, the leaders of the ruling party, who have been invited for the Pran Pratishtha, will not be going to Ayodhya on January 22 but will be witnessing the event virtually, from different parts of the country, with the masses. Main leaders of opposition parties have also been invited by the Trust but almost all opposition leaders have turned down the invitation; while Congress has called it a ‘BJP-RSS Event’, AAP Supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that he has not been given a final invitation and that he will visit the temple with his family later.
