“Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays season four is done,” McAfee said Wednesday, as his staff clapped. “There will be a lot of people that will be happy with that, myself included, to be honest. With the way it ended, it got real loud, real loud. I’m happy that that is not going to be in my mentions going forward, which is great news.”

The news came after Rodgers publicly feuded with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

“Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer, he’s a four time MVP. He’s a massive piece of the NFL story; whenever you go back and tell it, he will be a huge part of it,” McAfee added. “We are very lucky to get a chance to chat with him and learn from him. Some of his thoughts and opinions, though, do piss off a lot of people, and I’m pumped that that is no longer gonna be every single Wednesday of my life, which it has been for last few weeks … So with that said, sports are alive right now. ”

During his regular appearance on The Pat McAfee Show last month, Rodgers implied Kimmel’s name would be named as one of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates. McAfee joked that Rodgers was “waiting in his wine cellar for this thing,” with the football star responding, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out.”

Over 150 high-profile associates of the late sex offender were named earlier this month after a federal judge ruling in December. Despite many high-profile personalities appearing on the Epstein list, Kimmel’s name was not among them.

“I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle,” a smiling Rodgers said in a clip that went viral on social media.

“My name wasn’t on it and isn’t on it, and won’t ever be on. I don’t know Jeffrey Epstein, I’ve never met Jeffrey Epstein,” Kimmel fired back Monday night.

“I’m not on the list. I was not on a plane or an island or anything ever, and I suggested that if Aaron wanted to make false and very damaging statements like that, we should do it in court so that he can share his proof with a judge.”

Calling him “Karen Rodgers,” and a “hamster-brained man,” Kimmel abused Rodgers relentlessly, making fun of his intellect.

“Aaron got two A’s on his report card, and they were both in the word ‘Aaron,’” Kimmel said at one point.

Kimmel roasted Rodgers further when he said the four-time NFL MVP is a classic example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect, which posits that people with limited knowledge overestimate their intelligence. “In other words, Aaron Rodgers is too arrogant to know how ignorant he is,” he joked.

McAfee told viewers that Rodgers’ allegations came after Kimmel poked fun at the player for his past remarks about Epstein and UFOs while appearing on the same show last year.

As the feud unfolded online, McAfee tried to quell the firestorm, saying that Rodgers was “just trying to talk s***.”

Monday night, Kimmel said Rodgers should apologize, but predicted he won’t.

True to his word, Rodgers didn’t apologize during his weekly appearance on McAfee’s Tuesday show, where he emphasized that he didn’t call Kimmel a pedophile and was himself a victim of a smear campaign because of his anti-vaxx stance.

“This is the game plan of the media and this is what they do: They try to cancel, you know, and it’s not just me,” Rodgers said

“Any type of name calling is ridiculous and I’m not calling him [a pedophile], and neither should you,” he continued.

“I said, ‘A lot of people including Jimmy Kimmel are hoping that [list] doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said. “I’m not stupid enough to accuse [Kimmel of being a pedophile] … I’m glad that Jimmy’s not on the list.”

In announcing that Rodgers won’t be back for the rest of the season, McAfee said that the ongoing drama, which also saw the host accusing an ESPN exec of trying to “sabotage” his show, was giving his critics too much ammo to use against him.

“Over the last week we have certainly given them all a lot of stuff to get mad about and become loud about, we’ve messed up in that particular aspect,” McAfee said. “I mean, we’re a conversation show, people are having conversations, we live in a country that has freedom of speech. But also, you’re going to have to deal with the consequences of your freedom of speech.”
