Australian Idol First Look: Superstar judges Kyle Sandilands, Amy Shark and Marcia Hines meet contestants

Iconic star-making show Australian Idol is set to unearth a new generation of talent when it returns to Channel 7 and 7plus on January 29.

In 2024, the show brings a sensational panel of judges including returning judges, radio king Kyle Sandilands and TV WEEK Logie Award winner and acclaimed singer Amy Shark.

They will also be joined by a new addition: Australian Idol OG and pop legend Marcia Hines.

The trio will traverse the country to find the next Australian Idol.

Australian Idol will once again be hosted by 2004 contestant, ARIA Award nominee and multi-platinum-selling star Ricki Lee, joined by internationally renowned entertainment presenter Scott Tweedie.

Set to be the toughest season yet, with only room for the best of the best, the judges are looking for the complete package: A singer with the sound and style to woo the nation.

A global success since 2001, the Idol franchise has launched the careers of many Aussie and international music icons including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert.

Australian Idol will return to Channel 7 and 7plus on Monday, January 29.
