Firearm, ammunition seized after Brampton men busted by Peel police

Five Brampton men are charged with numerous firearm and drug offences after a pair of busts on Friday.

The first arrests were made on Friday at noon, Peel Regional Police said, when their specialized enforcement bureau located three men in the Hwy. 50-Rutherford Rd. area of Vaughan as a part of an ongoing investigation.

Amandeep Singh, 21, Ramanpreet Singh, 30, Maninder Singh, 21, Swaranpreet Singh, 20, and Jobanpreet Singh, 20, all from Brampton, were charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a prohibited device or ammunition knowing its possession is unauthorized. Amandeep Singh, Ramanpreet Singh and Maninder Singh were also charged with several other offences.
