A mum-of-two who led an unhealthy lifestyle that saw her weight spiralled to 114 kilos has dropped five dress sizes while eating six times a day without depriving herself of foods she loves.

Jala Allouche, from Lake Munmorah, NSW, lived off a takeaway-heavy diet and “excessive” amounts of junk food.

At her heaviest, the 33-year-old says she was constantly tired and struggled to find clothes that fit.

But determined to lose weight once and for all, the mum went from a size 20 to a size 10 after she overhauled her lifestyle.

Before her incredible weight loss, the mum said she “enjoyed a lot of takeaway food” and binging on snacks.

But she knew she needed to overcome her bad eating habits to get healthy after her family inspired her to become the “best version” of herself four years ago.

And so she messaged Alicia Gowans, three-time WBFF (World Beauty Fitness and Fashion) champion and personal trainer, asking for help with her weight loss.

“It completely changed my life,” Jala tells 7Lifestyle.

Jala lost 25 kilos after she joined Alicia’s Allys Angels and Alphas, a customised training and nutrition program designed to suit a client’s lifestyle to help them achieve results.

“It helped me every step of my fitness journey, teaching me balance and enjoying dinner out with friends and family and still reaching my transformation goals,” she says.

Her exercise routine included a mix of weights, gym classes and CrossFit four to six times a week.

“I learned not every week would go to plan and I just had to keep moving forward one step at a time to reach my goals,” she says.

“I train early in the morning or late at night if I have work or a busy schedule or during the day after dropping the kids at school.”

With a structure and routine in place, Jala says the program “completely changed” her “body composition”.

“I learned how to meal prep my meals to stay on track to reach my transformation goals,” she says.

She now has a healthier meal plan – and she eats up to six times a day.

Her breakfast includes oats, protein shakes and blueberries while she’ll enjoy a piece of chocolate and yoghurt for morning tea.

By lunchtime, she’d have a chicken and salad wrap and for afternoon tea, she’ll make herself a turkey and salad rice cakes.

Her typical dinner is usually a steak with sweet potato and salad and she’ll enjoy popcorn as a nighttime snack.

Despite her healthier food choices, she still treats herself to anything she wants, within reason.

“I enjoy my favourite foods in moderation,” she says.

“I have learned to include my favourite foods into my everyday diet. I have learned along my transformation journey finding healthier and lower-calorie food options with my nutrition helps me stay on track.”

Her “guilty pleasures” now include dark chocolate, brownies, Halo Top ice cream and sweet potato fries.
