Ingredients

· 1 Cup Pre-cooked cornmeal. (The best brand is “PAN”)

· 1 1/4 Cup water

· Pinch of Salt.

Method

1. In a bowl pour water, add the salt and the corn meal.

2. Mix the ingredients and knead until a smooth dough is formed.

3. Shape the dough into little patties. In a frying pan cook over medium heat for 5 mins each side.

TIPS: To get them super crispy put in the oven at 180c for 5 mins

“Curvy queen” This dish was named after the first Venezuelan international beauty queen. In Venezuela every arepa filling has a funny name.

Ingredients

· 2 Chicken breast

· 1 onion finely chopped

· 2 ripe avocados

· 1/2 Red capsicum finely chopped

· Coriander (to your taste)

· Salt & pepper (to your taste)

· 2 Tbsp mayonnaise

Method

1- Add the chicken breast, onion, garlic and salt to a pot covered with water. Bring it to a boil and cook for around 15 mins.

2- In a large bowl, mash the avocados and add the onion, red capsicum, coriander and mayonnaise.

3- Shred the chicken and add it to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and keep in the fridge
