Vir Das is one the top of his game, the man not only won the International Emmy for his Comedy Special Vir Das: Landing he is very soon co-direct a feature film that he is leading and also producing. He is also consistently performing not only in India but across the globe, at last count he has performed in 36 countries in one year. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, opened up about his Delhi Belly co-star Imran Khan and shared that he has all the trappings of being a fantastic director.

During the conversation, ETimes asked Vir if he could be Santa Claus for a day , what would he gift his co-star Imran Khan and she said, “ I would get Imran Khan a film unit that will make the film he will direct, because I think he’s going to be an amazing director. Whenever he does, if he does, I don’t know if he will, I think he’ll be an amazing director. Early on during Delhi Belly , we were all like, Imran will direct an amazing movie one day, so I hope he does. “
Imran Khan had a fabulous start to his career with films like Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, I Hate Luv Storys, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu etc but since then his career went into a downward spiral, with his last film being Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut which released in 2015. But Imran reportedly has been working on a comeback and one is expecting an announcement in 2024.
