News Agency / New Delhi
Union Minister for Industry and Commerce Piyush Goyal said, “The less government intervention in start-ups, the more successful the scheme can be.” He also said that the government has a role to play in giving maximum impetus to start-ups without interfering in the scheme. He was speaking at an event organized by Savitribai Phule University. Goyal also said that all the infrastructure required for start-ups will be provided in the near future.
Speaking on the occasion, Goyal said, “Today’s era is one of start-ups. India is leading the world in start-ups. However, it is in the best interest of the industry for the government not to interfere in the business started by start-ups. In the absence of government intervention, the entrepreneur concerned can make independent decisions about the nature, price and quality of his goods, leading to the advancement of the industry. Also, if the government does not support the industry, the entrepreneurs will stand on their own two feet. Therefore, the Center has taken the role of not paying attention to any of the policies of the start-up.
More than 70 start ups Included in the Unicorn category
Today, more than 70 start-ups in India have joined the Unicorn category. This number is the highest in the world. If this start had taken the help of their government. They would have been affected by the decisions taken by the government during the Corona period. The center is giving priority to women start-ups. With the number of women starting startups slowly increasing, this is a comforting picture. This has provided employment to many. Start-ups could be of great use in the coming years to strengthen the Indian economy.
