DUBAI: Marubeni Corporation launches a new ad series, “share the challenge”, featuring Japanese actor SAKAI Masato, introducing its new green business initiative.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Marubeni is one of the biggest Japanese companies that trades internationally in a wide range of goods and services.

The ad portrays Marubeni’s spirit and vision for the future and emphasizes on the power of the collective, hence the slogan “Share the Challenge.”

In the ad SAKAI is the legendary Lord Benimaru facing his greatest challenge that can only be overtaken if everyone came together and teamed up and started collectively facing the challenge.

Marubeni’s green initiative involves expanding their sustainable businesses that have a positive effect on the environment such as decarbonization and the circular economy and advancing greening in all their business domains to achieve their international community’s goal of living in harmony with nature.

Marubeni has ten new green businesses namely, renewable energy, new energy, forestry, agri-inputs, decarbonization solutions, water infrastructure, copper and aluminum, decentralize power, battery storage and supply demand adjustments, recycling of materials and resources, and eco-friendly food products.

The company strives to anticipate new challenges and creates innovative solutions for the customers and the world that break down barriers between sectors, build on existing models, and expand into new markets.
