PlayStation VR2 now available in India: All the details

Sony’s PlayStation VR2 is now available for purchase in India. The PSVR2 was announced earlier this year in the international markets. The PlayStation VR2 has over 20 supported games, with one of the major titles being Horizon: Call of the Mountain, based on Sony’s Horizon series. Sony has also launched the PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle here in India.
PlayStation VR2: Price, availability in India
The PlayStation VR2 is available to order through Shop at Sony. The retail package will include the headset, Sense controllers, and headset, and is priced at Rs 57,999. The Sense controller charging station will be available separately, though there is no information on its pricing yet.
The PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle is also on sale for Rs 61,999. The bundle includes a PSVR headset, a PlayStation VR2 Sense controller (Left/Right) with attached straps, a USB cable for controller pairing and charging, stereo headphones, three pairs of earpieces, and printed materials. Additionally, you’ll receive a PlayStation Store voucher code for Horizon Call of the Mountain game.
PlayStation VR2: Specifications, features, and more
The second-generation PlayStation VR headset has significant improvements over its predecessor, including an OLED display with a 110-degree field-of-view, support for 4K HDR playback, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The headset also has four cameras built on the front that enables a see-through view, a customised play area, and other features. In addition, the new orb-shaped controllers have adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, similar to the DualSense, and the ability to detect finger touches.
The PlayStation VR2 headset has an important limitation – it only works with the PlayStation 5 console. Therefore, to use the VR headset, you will need to have a PS5 console or purchase one. The PlayStation 5 console is priced at Rs 44,990 for the digital edition, and the disc version costs Rs 54,990.
