NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi will set his vision for New India at the 8th edition of ET Now Global Business Summit, which will be held on Feb 9-10.
Several cabinet ministers will also speak at the summit, where discussions will pivot on the theme of ‘disruption, development, and diversification’. More than 2,000 delegates, representing diverse industries and sectors from over 20 countries, are expected to attend the 2024 edition, which will be held at Taj Palace, Delhi.
The roster of prominent speakers and luminaries includes Bridgewater Associates founder & CIO mentor Raymond T Dalio, Standard Chartered CEO Bill Winters, Franklin Resources CEO Jennifer M Johnson, Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S, economist & Nobel laureate Michael Spence, Coursera CEO Jeff Maggioncalda, Hanson Robotics CEO & co-founder David Hanson, Margaris Ventures founder Spiros Margaris, Airbus CEO (defence & space) Michael Schoellhorn, and Hyperloop TT CEO Andres de Leon.
Modi believes that making India a developed $30-trillion economy by 2047 will be a unified effort of govt and the country’s 1.4-billion-strong citizenry. At the last edition of GBS, he said, “India’s growth is the world’s growth. The world can only get better if we all work together.”
