Red Rooster teams up with Nike to make 100 limited edition sneakers: Here’s how you can get a pair

In a move that fuses the worlds of fast-food and fashion, Red Rooster, Australia’s beloved chicken brand, has taken a bold step into the realm of streetwear by launching a limited edition line of Nike trainers.

The move has tongues wagging and sneaker enthusiasts ready to strut their stuff in a unique blend of comfort and style.

Available from 13 November, just a handful of sneakers will be made to order with only 100 Red Rooster (Reds) available.

Using the Nike Dunk Low sneaker as a canvas there will be two designs on offer.

First, the Reds Special Sneaker which includes Red Rooster branding on grey and white sneakers.

Costing $420, there are only 70 pairs available.

There’s also the Reds Deluxe Sneaker with a red toe box and laces.

At $750, customers will be one of only 30 people in the world to own a pair of these collectables.

Each pair of shoes is individually hand painted and customised by Customs Den’s special sneaker artists using premium paints and materials.

And from the iconic red and white colour scheme to cleverly integrated chicken-themed details, each pair is a conversation starter.

The paint is both crack and water resistant and every unique pair will be individually numbered; perfect to accessorise with Red Rooster’s Crunchy Fried Chicken or even a juicy Reds burger!

All shoes are made to order and will be delivered within a six to eight week period.
