Shah: Gehlot govt guarantee for appeasement politics: Shah

JAIPUR: Taking a dig at Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s seven guarantees, Union home minister Amit Shah claimed at an election rally in Nawalgarh (Sikar) on Tuesday that the Congress government is a guarantee for appeasement politics, paper leaks, and crime against women.
Polling in the state assembly elections is due on November 25. “The Congress government has scripted paper leaks to ensure their supporters get jobs. They have destroyed the future of 40 lakh youths,” alleged Shah, who read out the names of papers that were leaked during the Congress government’s tenure. He addressed supporters at two more places – Kishangarh Bas and Neem Ka Thana – during the day.
“Tell me, friends, don’t you want to see the Ram mandir in Ayodhya,” he asked the audience. “PM Modi has laid the temple’s foundation stone. The magnificent temple is scheduled to open on January 22, 2024. You press the lotus button on election day, and we promise to take you to the Ram temple in batches for free,” Shah said.
He accused the Gehlot government of minority appeasement and recounted the riots that occurred in the previous five years. “Over 40 riots occurred, with Gehlot as CM, who has no idea how to run the government. I am giving you a guarantee on behalf of PM Modi that if BJP is voted to power, Rajasthan will be riot-free,” said Shah.
“This election will not only determine the fates of our candidates but also the future of Rajasthan and India. Your single vote will ensure that Modi-ji is re-elected Prime Minister in 2024 and your one vote in these elections will help to destabilise the corrupt Gehlot government,” Shah stated.
