Two months have passed since Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack last December. He had complained of chest pain and collapsed at his residence on December 14. He was swiftly rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri by his family. Following a harrowing battle for his life, the actor underwent an angioplasty and was discharged six days after his admission. Shreyas has now opened up about his health condition and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the countless individuals who rallied around him during his darkest hour.
“First of all, I would like to thank all the people who helped me that night. All the doctors, technicians, hospital staff, everyone, and all the fans who gave me countless blessings and love. I’m a little better now, with God’s grace, and recovering with each day, one day at a time,” Shreyas told Instant Bollywood.
Shreyas is now on his road to recovery with the advice of his doctors. He has cautiously resumed work. “I’ve started working a little bit now. But I think it’s very difficult to repay this debt of people in this life. But I cannot thank people enough. I’m very happy now. With doctor’s advice and all, things have started moving,” he added.

Earlier, Bobby Deol had shared the information which he had received from Deepti on Shreyas’ health condition. It was revealed that Shreyas’ heart had stopped for about ten minutes, but fortunately, the doctors were able to revive him and done an angioplasty.

Following his discharge from the hospital, Deepti had taken to Instagram to express her gratitude for the unwavering support they received. “Your messages have been my pillar of strength,” she conveyed, thanking each individual who stood by their side during their tumultuous journey.
Shreyas, who has starred in both Hindi and Marathi cinema, is best known for his performance in films such as Dor, Iqbal, Om Shanti Om and the Golmaal franchise. He will next be seen in Welcome to the Jungle, the third part in the Welcome film series.
