Supernatural actor Mark Sheppard has shared a post revealing he is lucky to be alive after suffering from six heart attacks.
In a candid Instagram post, the 59-year-old said that he collapsed in his kitchen before he was rushed to the hospital where he died four times and was revived each time successfully.
Sheppard was suffering from “100 per cent blockage” in the left anterior descending artery of his heart.

“You’re not going to believe this! Was on my way to an appointment yesterday when I collapsed in my kitchen,” he wrote on Sunday
“Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from dead 4 times I apparently had a 100 per cent blockage in my LAD.
“The Widowmaker. If not for my wife, the @losangelesfiredepartment at mullholland and the incredible staff @providencecalifornia St Joseph’s – I wouldn’t be writing this.
“’ I feel great. Humbled once more. Home tomorrow! #spnfamily.”
He posted a selfie of him lying in his hospital room wearing a gown and gazing into the camera.
Friends and followers rushed to the comments to wish the actor well in his recovery.
“Wow mate! Glad to hear you’re okay. Scary stuff. I hope @slsheppard and the kids are okay also,” one wrote.
“Mark! You don’t need to do the most and biggest every time! 6 heart attacks? 2 or 3 would have been impressive enough,” added another.
“You’ve impressed us, okay. Now stop with this heal-up and get back on the road with us. Love you, pal.”
The actor is best known for playing King of Hell Crowley on the popular series Supernatural which aired from 2005 to 2020.
Other stars from the show include Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.
Sheppard is also known for starring in supernatural hits including Firefly, Doctor Who and Battlestar: Galactica.
