Police have used a cherry picker to arrest a boy who had climbed onto a roof after he allegedly ran from a stolen car in Logan.
The 17-year-old Logan Central boy was one of three people who allegedly went to a carpark in Beenleigh where a stolen Lexus station wagon was parked about 4.30pm on Monday.

The trio was unaware police were also at the scene.
When police attempted to arrest the trio, they ran off.
Two were not immediately found however, officers said the 17-year-old boy climbed onto the roof of a nearby building and stayed there for a few hours as police negotiated with him.
Officers eventually brought in a cherry picker and were able to “bring the 17-year-old back down safely and take him into custody”, police said.
As this was happening, a 35-year-old Woodridge man and a 14-year-old Edens Landing girl, both believed by police to be associates of the boy, arrived in an allegedly stolen Toyota Yaris.
They were both arrested.
The boy has been charged with burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and unregulated high risk activities.
The girl has been charged with stealing, driving without a licence and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
The man has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.
