Salman had recalled the incident when Sushmita appeared as guest on ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’, a chat show which was then hosted by late actor Farooque Shaikh. “One day I turn up late on sets, on the first day of shooting, at 11 o’clock. Sushmita Sen was there since 9 o’clock in the morning. So the moment I went to the sets and said ‘Hi Sush’ – that was the first time I was meeting Sush – ‘Hi Sush, how are you Sush? Salman’. And she just shakes my hand, she does ‘huh’ and she walks away,” Salman said remembering the series of events.

Salman further revealed that he then turned to director David Dhawan and asked, “What’s her problem, man? Why’s she giving me attitude?” Salman then went on to heap praises about Sushmita on the show.

Thereafter the actors collaborated on other films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya’, ‘Tumko Na Bhool Payenge’. Today, they continue to be close friends, always cheering for each other. Sushmita was earlier seen in an endearing video dancing with and hugging Salman Khan at his birthday party. Recent Salman was seen cheering for Sushmita after the release of ‘Aarya 2’. “Arre wah Sush, how nice you looking ya. Totally killing it. So happy for you,” he wrote in a social media post.
