Travis Kelce is grateful his girl smashed that like button when the Kansas City Chiefs shared the news that he became the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 11,000 receiving yards following the team’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday.

Discussing Travis’ record and his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s show of support on their New Heights podcast this week, his brother Jason said, “You might not care about records but you know who does, a 92-percenter by the name of Taylor Swift. That’s right. She liked an Instagram announcement from the Chiefs about you breaking this record.” (Just a heads-up, fans of New Heights are known as 92 percenters.)

“Alright now. Thanks Tay, I appreciate you,” Travis responded.

“Gotta love the support,” the Philadelphia Eagles centre continued. “Has she always been a fan of tight-end receiving yards? Is she a big tight-end receiving yards (fan)?”

“I’m not sure, that’s a good question,” replied Travis. “Maybe. I don’t know. I don’t know if she’s a fan of tight ends or not. I have to ask her.”

The sweet shout-out sent Swifties into hysterics on social media, with one fan writing, “‘Thanks Tay, I appreciate you,’ Can you hear me sobbing?”

“The way his tone changed when he said, ‘Thanks Tay,’ Oh, I’m gonna be sick,” another added.

The nickname drop comes after an insider close to the two-time Super Bowl champ told PEOPLE this week the romance is “the real deal for him.”

“They’re still a little shocked by all of it — that he’s dating the Taylor Swift,” the source said of Travis’ friends reaction to the new relationship. “But they’ve seen how down to earth she is with his friends and family.”

The insider adds that the connection has blossomed because the two are supportive of one another in their separate careers.

“They’re both really hard workers, and he acknowledges her art is hers, and he has what’s his,” the insider continues to PEOPLE. “He understands the territory their relationship comes with and like he said, isn’t letting any of the hoopla impact how they’re growing together … Their relationship is about the two of them, and he sees Taylor for who she is and vice versa.”

Swift, 33, jetted back to the U.S. after wrapping up a series of shows on her Eras Tour in Brazil earlier this week. The singer landed in Missouri on Monday to visit Kelce before the Chiefs fly off to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers this Sunday night, Us Weekly reported.

Last week, Kelce opened up on his relationship with the Grammy-winning superstar in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, telling the outlet that he has “never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them.”

He also added that his friends warned him not to screw up this relationship and be careful with how he deals with the media.

“Everybody around me (is) telling me, ‘Don’t f*** this up!’ … That was the biggest thing to me: make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away,” he said.

“Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been … mind-blowing,” Kelce continued. “I’m learning every day.”

With her Eras Tour now on a break until next year, the Daily Mail reports that “they will be spending weeks at a time together” in the $6 million mansion he bought recently.

“Taylor’s still smitten with Travis,” an insider tells the outlet. “But she realizes that the hard work in their relationship is about to start as they will be spending weeks at a time together. Up until now, it has been time snatched as they both have had such busy schedules.”
