According to a report by The Indian Express, on Friday, Kohli informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the senior national selection committee his decision to withdraw from the upcoming Tests in Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamshala, before the squad selection meeting. Earlier, Virat Kohli had withdrawn from the first two Tests, citing certain ‘personal situations’, which demanded his presence and undivided attention. It will be the first time in Kohli’s career that he will not be part of a home series.
Virat Kohli’s latest decision has further intensified the rumours of Anushka Sharma’s pregnancy. Though there are no confirmation from the couple on whether they are expecting their second child, the recent events are leading to a lot of speculations.

For the unversed, AB de Villiers spoke about Virat-Anushka’s pregnancy, when Kohli skipped two India-England test matches and fans were wondering why. In a live session on his official YouTube channel, AB de Villiers said, “So, yes his second child is on the way, it’s family time. You cannot judge Virat for that, and yes we miss him but he’s made the right decision. We wish him all the very best for the great blessing of being able to become a father for the second time and All the Best to Anushka as well.”

Later in an interview with Dainik Bhasker, AB de Villiers stated that he made a terrible mistake in sharing false information, which is ‘not true at all’.
